The Personalized Path provides ongoing, one-on-one advising for students who want comprehensive support throughout senior year. From developing a balanced college list to navigating applications, essays, deadlines, and next steps, students receive guidance designed around their individual goals and application journey.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
Comprehensive Support Throughout the Application Process
The Personalized Path combines strategy, organization, application guidance, and individualized support so students can move through senior year with a clear plan while remaining actively involved in their own application process.
Up to 30 Advising Sessions
Ongoing one-on-one guidance throughout the admissions season, paced around the student’s application timeline, priorities, and individual needs.
Guidance for Up to 6 College Applications
Support throughout the application process for up to six colleges, including strategy, requirements, deadlines, and submission planning.
College List Development
Development of a balanced, well-matched college list based on academics, goals, interests, preferences, and overall fit.
Personal Statement & Supplemental Essay Support
Guidance with the personal statement and up to 2 supplemental essays, including brainstorming, structure, development, and feedback while preserving the student’s individual voice.
College Application Tracker (CAT)
Use of your personalized College Application Tracker (CAT) to organize colleges, deadlines, requirements, application status, testing, essays, and next steps throughout the admissions season.
Common App Guidance
Support with navigating and completing the Common Application, including profile sections, education history, activities, honors, application questions, and college-specific requirements.
Academic Resume Development
Guidance with building and refining an academic resume that clearly presents the student’s activities, leadership, service, employment, awards, and accomplishments.
Common App Activities Strategy
Support with selecting, organizing, and presenting activities so the Activities section accurately reflects the student’s involvement, responsibilities, and impact.
Self-Reported Transcript Support
Guidance with self-reported academic record systems such as STARS, SPARK, and other college-specific transcript reporting requirements, when applicable.
Testing & Application Strategy
Guidance around SAT/ACT reporting decisions, test-optional considerations, application rounds, and other strategic application decisions based on the student’s college list.
Timeline & Deadline Management
Ongoing organization of application deadlines, required materials, essays, testing, financial aid tasks, and other admissions milestones.
Scholarship & Financial Aid Guidance
General guidance around scholarship opportunities, FAFSA, CSS Profile, institutional financial aid requirements, and important deadlines.
Honors, Awards & Additional Information
Guidance with presenting honors, awards, additional information, and other application sections when relevant to the student’s story and application strategy.
Family Communication & Support
Ongoing communication with families throughout the advising season, along with personalized resources, meeting notes, and clear next steps after sessions.

Every student’s college list and application needs are different. The Personalized Path includes support for up to six college applications, the personal statement, and up to two supplemental essays. Additional services may be added when a student’s application plan requires more support.
